The money board: paid, owed, and how old the oldest invoice is

From the phone ringing to the money in the bank

You’re the technician. You’re also the receptionist, the dispatcher, the estimator, the bookkeeper and the collections department — and most of that happens at the kitchen table after the last job. This does those jobs. Not a marketplace of add-ons, not six logins, and no tier that unlocks the useful half.

01

Make the phone ring

  • A website and landing pages, built for you
  • Google Ads with the booked job attributed back to the ad
  • Reviews asked for after every job, automatically
  • Text and email campaigns to the customers you already have
  • Seasonal and dormant-customer reminders that book themselves
02

Answer it, and book it

  • AI answers 24/7 — by voice, or by text
  • Missed calls get a text back within seconds
  • The booking form fills itself while your CSR talks
  • Who’s calling, what’s installed and what they’ve spent, before hello
  • Online booking on your own site
03

Run the day

  • Dispatch board by technician, with drive time
  • Arrival windows, running-late alerts, “on my way” texts
  • The whole job on a phone — photos, notes, checklists, signatures
  • Keeps working in a basement with no signal
  • Truck stock, and what tomorrow’s jobs need on board
04

Get paid

  • Your flat-rate price book, good/better/best
  • E-sign, deposits and consumer financing
  • Invoices, pay links and tap-to-pay in the driveway
  • Memberships and recurring billing
  • QuickBooks sync the bookkeeper will accept
05

Know what it made, and grow

  • Job costing — what that job actually made
  • Seven owner boards: money, calls, jobs, techs, reviews, marketing, customers
  • Timesheets, commissions, payroll
  • Roles, permissions, and an audit log on every change
  • Ask it a plain question about your own numbers
Get your evenings back

The form fills itself, the reminders send themselves, the invoice chases itself, and nothing gets typed into two places. That is the paperwork you were doing at nine at night.

Book more of the work

The calls you can’t take get answered and booked anyway, and the quotes that go quiet get followed up without you remembering to.

Grow

You find out which work makes money, which ads pay, and which customers are worth ringing back.

Find out what you should stop doing

Revenue hides margin. The busiest work in most shops is the worst work, and nothing an owner owns tells him that. Seven boards do, and every figure on them opens the jobs behind it — a number you can’t get behind is a number you can’t act on.

Which work actually makes money

Margin by trade and by job type, not revenue. This is the one that surprises people: the category doing the most volume is very often the one losing you the most.

What each truck brings in

Revenue per technician against the $250,000–$400,000 a year the trade expects, plus close rate, callbacks and average ticket. The spread between your best and worst is what training closes.

What the phone is worth

Calls in, calls booked, and what each booked call earned. Nobody else can show you this, because nobody else is on the call.

Which ads pay for themselves

Spend against booked jobs and the revenue they produced, per campaign. Cost per booked job, not cost per click.

What you’re owed, and how old it is

One list, aged, with the oldest first. For a one-truck shop that outstanding money is the payroll.

What the business is worth

Recurring revenue from plans, repeat customers against new, and what a customer is worth over their life. It’s the first thing a buyer asks for, and most shops can’t answer it.

You’re paying five companies to run one business

And none of them know about each other. Here’s the same shop, one bill.

Field service software$79 – $750
Answering service, for the calls you miss$200 – $650
Reviews and reputation$300+
Marketing suite$99
Flat-rate price book$149
Website and call tracking$80 – $250
Across four or five vendors$900 – $2,200
EZCallPro — one bill, one loginfrom $59

It gets worse as the shop grows, because a bigger shop really is writing five cheques.

Why the phone part matters

Every shop above runs on the same twenty-four hours. This is the arithmetic behind the one feature nobody else has — check it against your own month.

27%
of calls a contractor misses, on average. At a one-truck shop it runs to 62%.
→
~5
missed a day, if the phone rings about 12 times — while you’re under a house or driving.
→
$300–3,000
what one of them was worth to whoever picked up instead.

Nobody leaves a voicemail any more. Around 80% of callers won’t — and the urgent ones never do. They ring the next result on Google.

One price. No tiers.

A truck is a technician who ran at least one job this month, so a slow January costs less instead of costing an argument.

$79
per truck, per month
  • Office staff free, unlimited — no per-seat billing
  • Every feature included. No add-on creep, no credits to decode
  • Your price never goes up. A price change only ever applies to new customers
  • Card processing at Stripe’s or Square’s own rate — we take nothing on top
First 200 shops
$59 a truck, locked for life

Not for a year. Not until we change our minds. If list price ever goes up it goes up for the next shop, never for you.

Ask them how many AI minutes you get

QuoteIQ, on their $699 top plan64 minutes a month

… then$1.25 a minute
EZCallPro, at $79about 333 minutes of AI answering

Roughly eight times the AI for a quarter of the price. Jobber charges $29 for 30 conversations. Housecall Pro won’t print what theirs costs.

And what it costs

The matched price — what it costs on their plan to get what we include, with office staff counted wherever they bill per seat.

Housecall Pro doesn’t publish add-on prices, so theirs is a floor, not a total. QuoteIQ’s figure holds only while their AI barely runs — at real usage a one-truck shop is nearer $449 and a twenty-truck shop $1,374. And we are not cheapest at ten trucks. We’d rather you saw that here than found it yourself.

Checked against their published pricing and feature pages on 25 September 2026, and re-checked monthly — they ship constantly, and a table that quietly rots is worse than no table. If you catch one wrong, tell us and we’ll fix it.

The terms, in plain words

The angriest complaint in this category isn’t about features. It’s about being trapped.

No contractMonth to month, always.
Cancel in the appTwo clicks. No retention call.
No termination feeThere’s no number to quote, because there isn’t one.
Your data is yoursExport everything any time — including on the way out.
Same support at any sizeOne truck gets what twenty trucks get.

The questions everybody asks

Is that per person?
Per truck. Office staff, dispatchers and the bookkeeper are free, unlimited. Everywhere else they’re $29–35 a seat.
I’m slow in winter.
A truck is a tech who ran a job that month. Six in July and three in January means you pay for three.
What happens to my number?
Keep it where it is and forward the calls you miss, or move it to us. Either way it stays yours, and you can switch the forwarding off at your own carrier without asking us.
My guys won’t use an app.
They’ll use one with three buttons that keeps working in a basement with no signal.
What if the AI books it wrong?
It fills the form; a person confirms. Nothing books without a tap unless you turn on full auto, and that’s your switch.
I already have Housecall Pro.
Bring your customers, jobs and price book — the import is free and self-serve, and there’s an undo button for seven days.
I don’t want to be recorded.
Storing the audio is off unless you turn it on. The call is always transcribed — that’s how the form fills itself — and the greeting always says so, in every state. That disclosure isn’t a setting, because the law covering recording covers transcription too.
What’s it really going to cost?
$79 a truck, or $59 if you’re in the first 200. Past your included minutes you pay what it costs us, shown in the app, with an alert at 80% — or set a hard cap instead.

Talk to us

We’re building this with a small number of shops before opening it up. If you run one to twenty trucks, we’d rather hear what you do about the calls you miss than sell you anything.
